I will leave a comment here since here is where I found your suggestions. I have planted seeds for vegetables for the first time in about 30 years. I never had a place to grow them inside, so I let it go and bought seedlings. This year I tried your milk carton technique, and it has worked so far. all have not germinated by many did and that is great. So,I expanded to flowers now. I had all these packages of seeds anyway, because of well intentioned purchases over the last couple of years. Small loss. Thanks for the tips. I will follow your other blog.
Thank you Art Gypsy! The Winter Sown method worked great for my first test on tomatoes. I can't wait to try it with other things. I never get tired of trying new things. Next, I will try Straw Bale gardening!
